Challenges of Raising Children in Nuclear Family in today’s world

Both the parents in nuclear family may be unable to provide attention to their children, as they are ofter tired after work. So this was the reason why I left my job to take care of my son and give him 100% attention.

Since Veer is completely dependent on us for his emotional and material support. So I and my husband really play a very important role in his formative years. We have to be a rolw model for him to be a good person tomorrow. They learn what they see.

✅What is the advantage of raising your child in nuclear family:-

💁🏻‍♀️Parents in a nuclear household are more likely to have a higher consistency with raising their children – meaning teaching discipline and appropriate behavior. Children receive consistent messages about behavioral expectations. Nuclear families have more daily routines, like eating dinner together, and spending more time together, adding to consistency.

💁🏻‍♀️They don’t have unwanted tantrums or stubborn about anything they want.

💁🏻‍♀️ You can feed them whatever you want and whenever you feel its time for some munchies.

💁🏻‍♀️ If you are not working then you can give more attention to them with their daily activities for skill development.

💁🏻‍♀️In a nuclear family – which is an immediate family – there can be no misunderstanding of any sort, and they enjoy a harmonious atmosphere.

❌What is the disadvantage of raising your child in nuclear family:-

💁🏻‍♀️So there have been many instances where we couldn’t take Veer along so that’s when we faced a problem.

💁🏻‍♀️ If I have to go for some meeting or so then either have to call his grandparents over to our place or I have dropped him many times to my moms place.

💁🏻‍♀️He is always glued to me so I don’t get personal time for my piece of work. I sit late night after he is off to sleep.

💁🏻‍♀️Baby don’t learn sharing, as everything thing here is his. So inculcating the habit of sharing should be started early by taking them to parks and then they know how to wait for their turn or how to share toys and play together.

There are not much of disadvantages as we set are priorities that way when we are in nuclear family. However, nuclear family can still have advantages if the family is connected well to the extended family.
