April 2015 Nepal Earthquake

Nepal earthquake have injured more than 19000 people and approximately killed more than 8000. The worst earthquake to hit the country since 1934. The badly affected natural disaster that struck Nepal. The earthquake triggered snow slide on Mount Everest killing about 20 people. Repeated aftershocks occurred throughout Nepal within 15–20 minute intervals, with one shock reaching a magnitude of 6.7 on richter scale, there was also a risk of landslides.  The death toll from a devastating earthquake in Nepal has risen to 8,000. Another 11,175 people have been injured, according to the home ministry. At least one HF net is reported to be handling emergency and relief-related traffic in the wake of a devastating and deadly earthquake in Central Nepal. The earthquake hit a heavily populated area of Nepal, including the capital, Kathmandu, and its impact spread far beyond the Kathmandu Valley. Editor of Nepali Times, said on Twitter an 11-year-old girl was rescued Bhaktapur Dattatreya Square after 90 hours under rubble.

“She was injured but she was conscious and talking,” a Nepal army major told AFP.”She has been sent to a military hospital. It is as though she had been born again.”
